Villa Escudero Day Tour
Villa Escudero is a coconut plantation owned by the Escudero family, which traces its roots back to the 18th century and was once the wealthiest and most famous family in Quezon Province. Originally a sugarcane plantation, the estate was later converted into a coconut farm that featured the country’s first hydroelectric plant. During the tour, you can soak your feet in Labasin Lake while enjoying traditional Filipino cuisine. This trip is a great way to see what life in the Filipino countryside is all about.

Your first stop at Villa Escudero is the on-site museum, which houses the personal collection of the Escudero family and includes religious artifacts, traditional clothing, World War II relics and more. After that, you’ll listen to live music while taking a ride on a carabao cart, which was how people and their goods used to get around. Next, you’ll eat lunch by the waterfall, chowing do on traditional Filipino cuisine in the water – literally! Following lunch, you can take a ride on a native bamboo raft and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Labasin Lake. Later, you’ll see cultural dance performances from every region in the Philippines, from Luzon to Mindanao.
